I am seeing a lot of pistol mags advertised as "Pre-Ban" magazines. Since I don't want to crap on anyone's thread I figured I would ask here at the bastion of knowledge (hive mind).
Does pre-ban mean pre 1994, or pre-"ban that has yet to occur"? I am just saying I am not going to spend $150 on a CZ75 9mm Pre-Ban 15 round magazine. That's me, personally... I know, cool story bro.

Pre-1994, which means you could be looking at buying something that's ~20 years old.

Pre-94, but ask the seller to be sure. A whole lot of new people selling stuff they don't know anything about lately.

OK Thanks. Just making sure that I wasn't going full retard over here thinking that people were trying to sell pistol mags based on a proposed ban at 1998 prices.

Different meanings depending on the product.
The most misleading is goobers on gunbroker advertising things as being pre ban to an impending ban. Usually only applicable to pre-94 to now CT and MA markets, or pre-89 import ban. |
