I was rummaging through his military records and found some personal notes he made. I'll be damned if I didn't find the written in his own hand.

Homeboy passed on in 2k. This note was written around 1973.

Nixon signed his retirement letter.

I just realized that he ripped it part. I had to put these pieces together to find the .

I love that guy. 7/1 Armored Cav. Vinh Long.

I recently rebuilt the JD mower deck my dad was in the process of rebuilding when he passed in 95. When I recently got the disassembled mower deck in boxes, I found handwritten notes and lists of parts needed. It was a kinda cathartic moment.

This is paperwork pulled from his 201, with special notes in it. I do this about every five years. I learn new things every time I walk his paperwork. I just learned that I shoot better than he does, or maybe not, because he Q'd the last 5 times on the M1 carbine.

I'm stuck between two worlds. The only man I've ever met who is a tougher piece of leather than my dad, is my son. The two of them are serious bad asses.
