The funny thing is, all these Democrats will insist on a closed primary so this cross-over business can't happen again.

Funny because in Alaska, the Republicans closed off their primary elections to non-party voters a long time ago, so they couldn't get "McKinneyed" by the minority just like what's going on tonight.  But the Democrats in Alaska (which are a big minority) have been pleading and suing for years to get an open primary like Georgia's. But the Democrats in Georgia try to say the election is fixed or rigged.

Can't blame them for trying, I guess.

It took 9/11 to wake a lot of people up in her district, to stop being "too busy" to vote and to look into her supporters.
