Looked around at some of the major online retailers. Every stripped lower is "Sold Out." At least the ones I want. Hopefully all the Industry guys are working overtime.

A friend and I raided his stepdads store last night at 8:30. We dang near cleaned him out of PMags..... At 11.99 for 4th gen

Also bought a couple G17 mags at 27.00

He told us after we were done he was raising prices n the PMags.

Hopefully I am wrong, but I think we have maybe 6 months, at the longest, before major bans are in place. I suspect that importations will be hit first and very soon. Its like the whole world has gone crazy.

If you need lowers, they're in stock. Just have to look.

ARFCOM forged lowers are in stock. Lauer custom weaponry had stripped LMT lowers in stock a couple weeks ago. I picked up one of those for $85 and they weren't on sale. That was the normal price. I think everybody seemed to forget about lauer.

Someone posted that they spent hours trying to find Glock 17 mags, I found them within 5 minutes of looking through my normal suppliers

. Weapons Outfitters has mags in stock as of 5 minutes ago.

i picked up a Surefire 60 and 3 Glock 17 mags so far. Will panic DONATE to the NRA this payday. I think that will be the extent of my panic anything.

Went to one of the local shops lastnight and the pmags and ruger BX25 mags were gone, glad I purchased mine three days ago

another local shop still has a good inventory and still has plenty of 6920's for $1025.

The election did not cause near the panic buying than last weeks shooting (and the current media circus) is going to cause.

I think I am giving my kids ammo for Christmas this year. Most of it is purchased, but still wanted another 500 rounds of 9mm to fill out the boxes.

I got 3 extra factory G19 mags to go along with my 5 cheapo Korean g19 mags that get mixed reviews. Just in case I ever warm up to the Glocks.

I normally have too much crap as I've been through one AWB as an unprepared fledgling gun guy. Don't plan on being caught short the second time especially sInce I have actually have some money this time.

Obama's little speech last night may have stirred up the hornets nest a little. Come January, if he's really ready to sacrifice freedom for the children, then I'm sure the panic will be full blown. Whether a new gun bill has a chance to pass or not won't matter one bit.

Luckily I have all the lowers I need for the forseeable future. You might want to buy some 80%s for insurance if you can't get ahold of any. I bought a few mags, that's about it. Local store was busy but they seemed to have a good stock of lowers and mags.

ETA - Also re-upped my NRA membership. How do I get my eagle?

I'd say give it a couple weeks for teh frenzy to build up even more with teh rumor mills. Then sell it. Folks don't seem to realise that not only does the Rep's control teh house/senate, but a ban doesn't get instilled overnight. Even if brought up, it'd take months to make it through congress, et al. That's all presuming a proposed ban even makes it that far, hell every year there's talk of a AWB, it's the same people introducing the same crap. If they didn't introduce one, That'd be the weird scary part.
