So, now you are liable for guns STOLEN from you???

This suit won't succeed in producing a judgment against Kahr, but it might succeed in bankrupting them.

Didn't (US) Congress pass legislation against these junk lawsuits????

For some reason, when I saw:

I thought of http://www.pincity.com/smsfree.asp, and I can't quite explain where the association came from.  Something to do with flooded voicemail boxes, I think... [devil]

Kahr may be screwed on this one.

More later.

While I can't see suing them for the death of this guy, I can see them getting tagged a certain percentage for the negligence involved.

If YOU ran a carlot and hired drunk drivers without screening them out, you'd probably be liable when of these "dealers" killed a kid on the way home in your dealer car.

Just modern pass-the-buckism.

I'm not a lawyer but I don't think they are going to use the "guns as objects of evil" path, they are going to hit the "kahr was negligent in hiring criminals" path and judging by how some other cases like this turned out,  Kahr may be screwed.

On the other hand, that icon of American Upstanding-ism, OJ Simpson, showed that with the right people and the right amount of money, ANY verdict is possible.

Good luck Kahr arms-

Crash.

So would it help if we all went out and bought a Kahr?  I'd like having one, but have had other priorities.
