So the Mayans could predict the exact date of the end of the world yet they couldn't predict the royal ass kicking they were about to get from the Spaniards.

I'm not real worried.

They've found Mayan calendars that extend beyond that date now, but dipshits still need a doomsday to panic about so they haven't publicized that nearly as much.

Mayan Doomsday: French Police Block Access to Survivors' Refuge Pic de Bugarach

Access to Pic de Bugarach, the place some new agers believe will be the only refuge from the Mayan apocalypse, has been blocked by French authorities - meaning no one will be spared when the world ends on 21 December if predictions are correct...

The calendar isn't off. Regardless of the date, the Mayans were planning on the winter solstice of this year. Not a numbered off cuz of leap year and aids numerical count, it's the winter solstice. Nothing can change that day of the year so no, it's not passed or miscalculated, the date the dark times end and the light times begin is 12/21 and 12/22 respectively.
Not saying any things gonna happen but the solstice is the date they are discussing and it's coming. Hasn't changed, hasn't been disproven, don't get it twisted.

The calendar isn't off. Regardless of the date, the Mayans were planning on the winter solstice of this year. Not a numbered " well it's  off cuz of leap year and aids numerical roman Gregorian calendar", it's the winter solstice. Nothing can change that day of the year so no, it's not passed or miscalculated, the date the dark times end and the light times begin is 12/21 and 12/22 respectively.
Not saying any things gonna happen but the solstice is the date they are discussing and it's coming. Hasn't changed, hasn't been disproven. The winter solstice is a date known by every civilization regardless of calendar and year and location. No matter how you keep track of days this is the same day for everyone. That argument is null and just shit people who haven't looked into it repeat to place themselves above this foolishness.

I'm impartial and don't think shit will happen, but the day they were referring to is right where it's said, 12/21/12.

Read up on the Mayan calendar and you'll find all the bullshit about the end of the world is just that. 12/21/12 corresponds to the end of an of a 5,125 year time period on the  Mesoamerican Long Count calendar. It's no more significant than the end of a decade, century or millennium. Anyone that says otherwise has their tinfoil screwed on too tight and needs to get their facts straight.
