GD.
Time is ticking and its coming up. Its seems that people either don't believe it, or don't care anymore. What are your thoughts on that date? |
|
they said they found an anti-chamber about thr-5 months ago. In it was supposed to be a continuation of the Mayan calender saying time goes on indefinitely!!!
Move along... nothing to see here! |
|
Because it is just going to be another day. If it does happen what will talking about it now change?
|
|
The calendar was slightly off. The official day was this past election day. Really.
|
|
So the Mayans could predict the exact date of the end of the world yet they couldn't predict the royal ass kicking they were about to get from the Spaniards.
I'm not real worried. |
|
|
The Mayans didn't use the Gregorian calendar like we do so according to them the world ended a little over three years ago.
|
|
There's nothing to complain about because Obama got re-elected so everything is good as far as the doomsayers thing.

That's because its all bullshit. However, the danger of the insane level and growth of US federal FSA spending isn't bullshit.... that will not end well.

I figure that'll be when NASA announces what they found on Mars. |

They've found Mayan calendars that extend beyond that date now, but dipshits still need a doomsday to panic about so they haven't publicized that nearly as much. |
|
Men have believed in thousands of gods, that are now no longer remembered. Most of these gods came with creation and final destruction stories, that are now forgotten. What makes this one any different?

Mayan Doomsday: French Police Block Access to Survivors' Refuge Pic de Bugarach
Access to Pic de Bugarach, the place some new agers believe will be the only refuge from the Mayan apocalypse, has been blocked by French authorities - meaning no one will be spared when the world ends on 21 December if predictions are correct...

It's not strange at all. It's strange that anyone is actually concerned about it.

I can't watch any of the stupid shit on History Channel anymore without CarbineKid freaking out about Mayans.
Burn the boats like Cortiz when he arrived in the New World. |

The calendar isn't off. Regardless of the date, the Mayans were planning on the winter solstice of this year. Not a numbered off cuz of leap year and aids numerical count, it's the winter solstice. Nothing can change that day of the year so no, it's not passed or miscalculated, the date the dark times end and the light times begin is 12/21 and 12/22 respectively.
Not saying any things gonna happen but the solstice is the date they are discussing and it's coming. Hasn't changed, hasn't been disproven, don't get it twisted. |

Not saying any things gonna happen but the solstice is the date they are discussing and it's coming. Hasn't changed, hasn't been disproven. The winter solstice is a date known by every civilization regardless of calendar and year and location. No matter how you keep track of days this is the same day for everyone. That argument is null and just shit people who haven't looked into it repeat to place themselves above this foolishness. I'm impartial and don't think shit will happen, but the day they were referring to is right where it's said, 12/21/12. |

What's to discuss? This. Why should people be discussing a bunch of made up hysteria over nothing. |

Read up on the Mayan calendar and you'll find all the bullshit about the end of the world is just that. 12/21/12 corresponds to the end of an of a 5,125 year time period on the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar. It's no more significant than the end of a decade, century or millennium. Anyone that says otherwise has their tinfoil screwed on too tight and needs to get their facts straight.

|
The mayan calender doesnt account for leap years which were created later. According to the mayan calender the world should of ended months ago, but people can keep freaking out if they want. Y2K!!!!!

Five stages of grief.
We're in the fifth stage...acceptance...of the inevitable. |

Earlier today one of my nephews said that he will turn 20 on his birthday which is December 15th.
I told him it was too bad that he wouldn't ever turn 21. |

The world ended 11-6-12. Obama fucked the Mayans too, and they're dead.
