Tried to join the saf. The website said thanks never charged my card, never sent an email, they don't answer there phones, they answered an email then never emailed me back. Was gonna get a life membership there loss.

Was gonna get a life membership there loss. Their donation/membership site is pretty crappy. They really ought to spend a little to make it easier. The same thing happened to me and I was concerned for several days that I had submitted my card information to a false site. I finally got them on the phone and fixed the problem over the course of several days. And after all that, they screwed up processed it as a donation rather than a membership. Doesn't really matter to me; I wanted to send some money their way to support their efforts. If they do finally talk to you and you complete your donation, prepare to be called a lot for more donations. And I'm not saying it's them, but soon after my donation I started getting cheesy junk mail offers for sportsman-related crap and old person stuff... anybody know if SAF sells their membership/donor lists? |
