She committed no crime...it's cultural. A radio reporter here, while having a baby, noticed all the 15 yr old mexican girls in the maternity ward with her. She also noticed that the fathers were in their thirtys. Later she went back and searched the birth certificates. Many plainly showed 14 and 15 yr old girls as the mother, and 30 somethings as the father. She asked the popo why they weren't arrested for Statutory Rape, and was told, it's cultural, we don't prosecute them.
