Was at a wrestling tournament this weekend and saw a 7th grader with a tattoo (genuine not a henna) on his calf. What kind of a parent lets their 12 year old get a tat? His older brother had a large one between his shoulders in the 8th grade, and as a 9th grader now has his second on his arm. What the heck are they thinking...

I bet he intimidates the shit out of those other 7th graders though

At least they arent wearing earings. I have seen alot of gays with earings from elementary on up, like 8 years old.

Pretty popular in Mexico apparently, I've seen several children (7/8yo not just teens) with their names or bible verses tatted on themselves, a few on their necks

just because you can squirt a load into a moist giner doesn't mean you will be a good role model.

I teach 6th and 7th grade English.
While I've yet to have any 6th graders with tattoos, I have have MANY 7th graders with tattoos. |

BFD. Parents want to let kids get inked, it's no skin off my nose. If the kids want to get rid of it later, the technology exists.

What has society gone to.
Kids with those gauges or whatever they are in their earlobes that make them bigger than a donut hole, kids with fish hooks in their eyebrows, bones in their noses, Tats of a astronaut on their arms, kids with raccoon tails coming out of their pants. |

My girlfriend had a 6th grader, ~12yo, with his name tattooed down his forearm. He was taken out of class mid-year by 3 cops in the school equivalent of a felony take-down because over the summer he'd beaten a kid so badly he was blind in one eye, it just took the DA 6 months to get around to charging him. I joked it was good so they'd know who he was when found dead in a ditch or shot to death by a CHL for a street robbery.
She ran into him a few years later, he was on trial for trying to steal a big-screen TV from someone's house. Kharn |

Christian Croats in Bosnia used to tattoo their little girls. Just sayin.

Frankly, I DO have ink–– but I was smart enough to get it where it could NEVER be seen in any clothes I may wear, and that it was something that I would still want years to come. |

There was a 4th grader that had a tattoo when i was in elementary school. (it was either a M or a W, not really sure which). In 5th or 6th grade he had a bulldog tattooed on his chest.

I saw a kid that couldn't have been more than eight of nine with large block letters on both forearms being escorted into juvenile court not too long ago... locally, under age 12 and it takes extraordinary circumstances before they will prosecute anything.
Perhaps he was a victim come to testify... |

Intimidation? You guys really think tattoos are about intimidation? How shallow is that.
If! And I say "if" because there are temporary tattoos that look very real, available. But if they are real, then the parents were in the wrong for allowing a child at such a young age, to modify thier bodies so permanently. Just not right! Ink, no ink? People are people! I know complete scumbags that are ink free, and I know "Inkies" that are the most morally strong individuals I've ever met! Didn't yo momma ever tell you not to judge a book by its cover? |

And then Mom gets pissed off be cause he refuses! "But WHY won't you pierce little Susie's susie?" "How 'bout, 'cause she's a F'ING CHILD???" |

Are these stick-ons or real tattoos?????
I thought there was an age limit.....18....or...16 minimum with parent's signature. But a 4th grader???? If I was a tattooist , I'd be afraid of being charged with child abuse at some point. I guess you could have 18yo fourth graders though. |

One of the 8th graders last year I helped tutor for had a tattoo where the top of her spaghetti strap shirt would sit on her front side.

I knew this 16 year old kid when I was younger who had two huge swastikas tattooed right above his knees. When he would play rugby, he would hike up his shorts and grin, and it would absolutely intimidate the shit out of the opposing team.
