Remember when two detective's would come and knock on your door.
It's part of the pussifacation of America even the the tough guys are pussy's If this happened at 9 out of 10 of our houses we would be dead and it would just be a footnote in this story. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/11/17/fbi-fires-shots-raids-emory-hughley_n_2150811.html?icid=maing-grid10%7Chtmlws-main-bb%7Cdl1%7Csec1_lnk3%26pLid%3D235819 |

I can not see any possible way that this thread will be controversial. I only see a peaceful discussion in which everyone agrees and is polite to each other.

+1 to OP for actually citing a credible news source. Tagged for interest.

I just did a quick Google and the first result was this:
SWAT team fires semi-automatic weapons at unarmed teenage girl OMG - "semi-automatic weapons". Like that makes it somehow worse. Although I will ask the op if he knows the origin of the "make it home safe". Quoted:
+1 to OP for actually citing a credible news source. Tagged for interest. HuffPo is a "credible news source"? If that's the case then I suppose Daily Koz is UPI's spiritual heir |
|
Im sure Huffpo can sucessfully link to local story.
What you should be worried about is that Huffpo is more worried about these heavy handed tactics than ar15 is. I don't know what trainwreck ya'll are waiting on because nobody here seems to care. |

They clearly did not intend for this carnage when creating the 2nd Amendment. |

http://www.nbcwashington.com/news/local/FBI-Activity-in-District-Heights-179460131.html
...Agents were executing a search warrant at a home in the 6700 block of Kipling Parkway when the SWAT team "felt threatened" by a woman in the home, authorities said... Unarmed teenage girl in PJs is threatening? I bet the best part of having a badge is getting to ignore that whole 'be sure of your target' thing. Fortunately, it seems the FBI maintains the terrible shooting standards we've come to expect from certain quarters. |
|
What i heard in the story was armed female drug dealer gets shot at by FBI SWAT, is lucky to be alive except for the "fall" which i'm guessing occured when they forced her defiant ass to the ground.
Not quite sure why this is a problem....... |

Remember when two detective's would come and knock on your door. To perform a search/arrest warrant on heroin dealers? Nope didn't happen. |

At the moment, this thread has all the get up and go of a 79 Pinto. (for those of you old enough to remember what they were. )

Quoted:
What does that have to do with a FBI SWAT team panic firing on an unarmed girl? Hard to tell based on what she did and how the entry team was briefed before entry. Those things we may never know. |

Thank goodness for all the sensible gun control laws or one of the peace officers who were shooting at that unarmed teen girl could have gotten hurt!

And apparently this story is strictly from the dad, whose baby "didn't do nuffin" and surprisingly has no idea what the warrant was about despite the fact that a copy of the warrant (which typically lists the specific evidence that is being searched for) is required to be left at the scene and/or with the property owner. Methinks he's being deliberately ignorant about a lot of relevant information. |

What does that have to do with a FBI SWAT team panic firing on an unarmed girl? Not saying it was a good shoot, but fuck! How would like it if EVERY bad shot the .mil causes is blasted all over here and shit is slung on the people out there trying to do their job. It's really old. |
|
Damn FBI... I keep telling them in order to pull this off successfully you need 16 guys!!
Sixteen damn it!! Not fifteen nor seventeen, but sixteen. When will they listen to me? |
|
Oh my! I am so skeered... What a lame attempt. Go back to cop bashing school and pay attention this time!
But there are differing accounts of what happened. A Baltimore field agent for the FBI told the Washington Post that the teen's injury was caused by a fall, not gunfire. Neighbors reported hearing a bang at 6:30 a.m |

What does that have to do with a FBI SWAT team panic firing on an unarmed girl? Tyranny is Here But at least the Tyrants 15 of them went home safe !!
Maybe my sarcasm meter is broken, but this is shit stirring right off the bat and poor grammar. |

Again, what does fallen officers have to do with this story? Are you trying to say that because they have a dangerous job, we should ignore actions that are questionable? |

Nice try, but it's not really effective. Maybe an emotional appeal about how harmless women are will help? (Just a suggestion) |

Story doesn't say a thing about what was or was not recovered as evidence. And plenty of search warrants with evidence recovered don't lead to on scene arrests for a wide variety of reasons. |

Give me a fucking break. Not to completely come down on you, but what the fuck? How many people are going to have the wrong address, unarmed people being shot at, kids being thrown into the line of fire or being flash banged? How quickly do you think this would stop if the officers actually got charged for their fuckups. |

No idea what happened in that house.
No claim from the father that they raided the wrong house. No idea what the threadtitle or the op have to do with the story. |

NEIGHBORS don't hear a bang when someone falls. In fact they probably won't hear a damn thing if someone falls. If / when they hear a bang it was probably a weapon being fired. Jussayin'. |
