I know nothing about this case, but you should define "Bad" shooting.

By "Bad" do you mean unfortunate, sad, trajic?
Or do you mean not legally justified.

There have been several, and always will be, trajic shootings that were legally justified.

The link provided only says that an undercover cop shot the friend of an alleged gun thief, in self defense, following an vehicular assualt.

I can't tell anything from that article. Was Jones car rammed twice like he claimed??? Who rammed if it was rammed?? Why is it claimed that he set out to violate someone's Rights?? Where is the basis for that claim in the article??

What about the question on who he was following. They ask him who he was following and point out there is long pause. Is he supposed to be instantly responsive with that name after he has supposedly had his car rammed twice and fired at the other vehicle? They didn't aks who had rammed him, just who he was supposed to be following, what does that have to do with the shooting.

Why are they claiming that the shoot was no good? Was the ramming a simple traffic crash?? If there was a "ramming" how forceful was it??

What is going on with this story there are some many gaps in it it doesn't tell us anything.
