I'm watching a show on the History channel called "Mail Call." Has anyone seen it? it's hosted by R.lee Ermey, and he answers all sorts of military questions that people E-mail in.

It's worth watching.

I'm watching it now. Not too bad, but 30min is TOO SHORT! Why not an hour?

i was underwhelmed

it needs to be 1 hr.
30 minutes is to short a time to cover the questions they ask.  i would have liked to see a whole show on backpacks and how they improved them after each war.

american shooter has the same problem!

it's a conspiracy. If they gave the gunny and hour no one would watch anna nichole or the osbournes.

I think Ermey is doing well in the time alotted, but because of the "Basic Training" show being a half hour as well (these are the only primetime 30 min. shows on THC by the way) they had to keep his show short.

This could possibly be a job for the ar15.com Army.  If 10,000 of us sent emails to the History Channel, maybe the execs would give Mr. Ermey the time he deserves.

My question:

"SIR! What is the difference between the 7.62 mm round used in older primary battle rifles and the 5.56 mm round used in modern military weapons and why was the change made? SIR?!"
