I wish Obama had brought up gun control, it woud have gotton gun owners riled up, BHO would lose for sure and some of the close House and Senate races could be swayed to pro gun folks.

Every left-leaning "reporter." Every left-leaning talking head. It was a campaign promise that is left to be fulfilled. It seems to be common knowledge among everyone on the *left* that Obama is going to go-after gun rights if re-elected. The reason Obama himself does not make a big-deal about it is that he understands it is a distracting (and losing) issue to the vast majority of Americans. |

See where it says 87% of Americans support gun control? That was in 1992. Now it's only 42% How do I know? There was a Time Magazine article "How Guns Won" in the August 6th issue. I read it yesterday while waiting for a flu shot. I thought it was funny that the 1992 percentage was 87. That's why I remembered it. |
