Shure the mission went to shit, BUT they lost 18
while the whole town was pissed off trying to kill them, there training was what kept most of those men alive NOT clinton or bush. look how many we killed compared to them. I really think we have gone to think that our great forces can march any were we want too without so much has taken a casualty. The "BHD Raid" was the clinton administrations fault completely not GB's. At the time of the raid the mission GB set was complete. It was clinton, albright and aspen who changed the mission and turned it into a contridiction. Trying to negotiate with aideed at the same time trying to capture/kill him. It is a perfect example of how not to do things, when a leader plays games like that he loses all the initiative and respect of his men and his enemy. clinton never understood that leadership is a lot different then political campaigning, his entire problem was no balls no morals just get by and fuck who ever you need to, too get what you want. Mostly his BS just weakened America. But in this case his BS got good brave American boy's killed and maimed.

Let's set the record straight folks!
GHWB did send the troops over there to secure food & aid shipments to the starving masses. Clinton & is people changed the scope of the mission from humanitarian relief to the commonly used term "nation building." In essence we then became combatants in a other country's civil war by taking sides and pursuing Aideed. The military repeatedly had asked for armored vehicles and other support. They were repeatedly denied by Clinton & his foreign policy team. The debacle that followed and those 18 Army Rangers was a direct result of Clinton's total disregard for our armed forces. And yes, if you check the recorded dates showing Monica's visits to the White House, you will see that she indeed WAS there on the day that those brave American Rangers were fighting for their lives. SO white OUR American Rangers were fighting for their lives Willie was getting his knob polished! One of the father's of those soldiers ripped Clinton a hew as*hole verbally inside the White House in the aftermath when he was presented a medal for his dead son by the degenerate in chief. Those are the facts. Let them not be forgotten. John |
