I'm on my feet all day on hard concrete floors.
What are the best options for shoes or boots in this HORRIBLE environment ?!?!?!

I am fond of my Redwing wellingtons. Oh, and drink a cup of home made chicken broth every day.

Well I work in a powerplant lots of standing/walking on concrete and other hard surfaces there are no "perfect" boots shoes for this.

I wear Danner boots that are really comfortable but I also use insoles to help out.

I really like Redwing boots.  Mine have a soft two part rubber sole.

What do you do?

I wear Danner Recons for my eight hours walking in the prison or when I'm teaching at the range.

The only other boots that were 1/2 as good were the 511 HRT boots.  they only lasted a year where my
Danners are three years old and are just like the day I bought them.

I'm guessing it has fat in it which is good for the joints.

You need to occupy some Wolverine Durashocks, I walk on concrete, gravel, dirt, mud and steel.

These guys seem to agree a tall, rubber-based boot is ideal.

I sprung for a new pair of Redwings with a softer sole , and I also bought the super deluxe Redwing insoles that you cook in an oven to make soft , and then immediately stuff em in your boots and walk on em till they cool , forming to your sole . An additional $50 for em.

Very , very comfy!!

Not sure if it's the new style boots or the wiz-bang inner-soles , but I'm happy as hell with em'

Before heading back to college I did Power pro for DoD.  I had a pair of wolverines and just changed out insoles roughly every 6 months.  I dont think there is a "perfect" boot but I think you can get close if you find the right insole.
