The Palistinians are blaming the IDF of course but it sounds more like someone was playing with a car bomb and blew themselves up...

I remember Reading a story about the Isreali's in lebannon.Seems they'd drive around undercover broadcasting all sorts of different radio frequencies. The occasional, random apartment would blow up along the way cause some nuckleheads inside where building radio controlled bombs.  LOL!

Kinda gives me a worm,fuzzy feeling inside.[grenade]

I have heard the same thing in regards to several failed attempts at suicide bombings, where would be bombers were blown up at or near IDF checkpoints along the borders of the West Bank.

Rumor is that at least one of the organizations that use suicide bombers doesn't trust the kids it recruits, so the bombs are fitted with manual, time, and radio detonators. The bombers are not told about the radio part and are followed at a distance by a observer team. If they try to chicken out, they get blown up.  The IDF response was to set up radio transmitters to broadcast junk signals near border crossings, causing them to detonate prematurely.
