I have never received any gun realated items from anyone for any birthday or Christmas present...ever.
This year was a first, and a fucking awesome one at that. For my birthday (Dec 6th) I received an Aimpoint Pro from my GF 
Here it is on top of my Stag 2H 
I told her that I was super happy with that and that was all I wanted for both Christmas and my birthday. So on Christmas I was suprised to open this. 
Holy shitsnacks, my GF and mom went in on the Stag 3GH upper. I nearly shit a chicken. 
I had a built Stag lower waiting in the safe for the last 3 years. Now it has a nice new upper with a Vortex Viper PST 1-4x, Timmney 4lb trigger, Magpul BUS, ASAP plate, AFG and ASC stock. Couldnt be happier, and I am dying to take her to the range. Here are some other pics, my DLSR took a gigantic shit so these are with the GF's point n shoot.

not at all. According to the letter of the law all 10+ round mags had to be owned prior to Jan 2000.
all those in the know stocked up on any and all mags they could ever need. And if those mags were damaged one could buy parts to repair said mag. Hence the Magpul mags. And if say you were shooting in the desert and found a ton of abandoned high cap mags, legally you could take them and own them. |
