So the wife and I meet up with her parents, cousin and younger brother for dinner. I am already tired from a long week but I agree and go along. After we all eat, she and her cousin go on about the wonders of their new Iphones. She and her cousin and brother are all playing some perpetual game of Scrabble and just bust out their phones and start playing.
I pretty much started hinting that we should get going and then we get into a fight-her because I wanted to leave and she wanted to spend more time with her family, and me because I think it is rude to be on your phone like that. I feel like that is something 14 year olds do. Am I wrong here? Maybe I was just raised differently

If the place is packed, I feel the need to leave when I am done eating and talking a little. If the place is dead, play Angry Birds till your thumbs are numb

It's despicably rude.

Place started clearing out but I don't think that's an excuse to sit there playing games when you can go home and play them there. I was already pretty tired to even go out so maybe my patience was out alot quicker. Plus the waitstaff probably wanna start cleaning shit up to go...why waste everyone's time?
