No elections at all.

Let me explain.

Each state draws 2 Senators from the Social Security rolls.
Each district draws their Representative.
The President and VP are drawn from the whole country at large.

Terms stay the same.

No losing 1+ years for the President running for re-election.
No need to be a multimillionaire to run for office.

The drunk living under the bridge down the road couldn't possible do any worse than what we have now.

Felonies would disqualify.  As well as being incarcerated at the time your name is drawn.

What say the hive?

Lottery elections?

You think the mass of lobbyists offering to help our elected officials make policy decicions is bad NOW...

This comment probably won't be popular but what the hell:

Basically, give Ron Paul dictator-level power for 4 years.  Let him cut whatever he wants with no one to question or stop him.  It would be like a great reset button being pressed.

He's the only human I'd trust with that amount of power.

I think that's really naive.  If he really did try to reset the government he'd turn up dead.
