I seen that, it and another one were locked, but to view the contents raised questions of why?

sponsorship, commercialization and the PCing of the site.
they'll deny it of course.

I'm pretty curious myself. When I saw it was locked I checked it out, thinking "someone must have gone on a flame war or something" but there didn't seem to be ANY legitimate reason to lock that thread.

It looked to me like someone had an itchy clicker finger and hit that one by mistake when they meant to lock the one right below it.  (about a prosthetic limb firing full auto or something)  Its not often there are two locked threads right next to each other.

Of course, there's not nearly enough treachery or deceit in that reason...

After I read it I have to agree that there was nothing wrong with that thread, so I opened it up again.

So is there any way to tell which mod locked it?  I thought it was odd too, since it wasn't inflamatory and everyone was being civil.

Remember the Alamo, and God Bless Texas...
