Shooting during child custody exchange in Waskom
WASKOM, TX (KSLA) -
Police have arrested a man who shot another man in the chest outside the Exxon station in Waskom, TX.
According to KSLA News 12 viewer Cassie Barnett, who was inside the store at the time, a man pulled up and shot another man in the chest.
Assistant Police Chief Kevin Frazier says "We got a couple from Mississippi, and a couple from Fort Worth. The ones from Fort Worth were meeting halfway with the ones from Mississippi for child custody. They were going to swap out the children. I don't know if the guy with the gun thought his life was in danger or not. At this point we just don't know. But I do know that he had a concealed handgun license."
