I bet it has something to do with the government not paying their bills in a timely manner.

I believe it has to do with the fact that the company DOES NOT want to have to comply with the racial, sexual and other hiring quotas and myriad laws the US Government enforce on contractors to comply with who do business with them.  They could conceivably be open to fed lawsuits for improper compliance with equal opportunity workforce laws if they are deemed a "Federal Contractor".

The part that gets me, is they're refusing CASH transactions as well.
