My one piece doors are 3/4" smaller on the left/right sides of the opening and about 1 inch higher on the top. There are 2x6's on the left and right side of the door that extend 4" in front of the door and 2" behind the closed door. As the door rotates downwards in the gap the 3/4" spacing allows some wiggle room before the top of the door comes up against a 2x4" that runs the width of the top of the door just as the door reaches vertical.
My doors are 192" and 93" wide. |

A sectional door fits behind the opening. By the way, go with the 7 foot height, that is standard and an 8 foot will cost considerably more.
