I have the ITD mod for the other Rainbow Six stuff but starting to get bored with the standard game.

Check out:
www.ghostrecon.net

www.theplatoon.com

There are lots of mods out there.....uniforms, weapons, additional missions and maps, etc.

Check out DRAG v2.0, pretty popular right now.

I like Wolfsong's Swedish forces mod and Nishi's NMM 2.0 weapons mod. Navy SEALs 2.0 is coming out soon, if not already. Download the M4 mod too, works with others mods and you can get the Beta-C mag.

Drag 2.0 is a cool mod that has helicopter, i have'nt tried it out yet. There are new maps available there too, even the KillHouse from Rouge spear and De Dust from counter strike.

My username is 110 there. I like stopping by there but it can be a slow site sometimes.

Willing to trade a CD full of Operation Flashpoint add-ons for a CD full of Firearm Manuals/AK,AR smithing or Porn [:D]

Okay I want to gripe for a second.

Ghost Recon is awesome. BUT YOU CAN'T CLIMB THE HILLS and Mountains.  If they made it so you could then the game would truly be something to play. Putting climable mountains in hills into these types of games truly opens the game up to strategy and tactics. The only problem with Ghost Recon is you are always funneled in one direction or another often times those paths aren't the best way to get things done....

The Delta Force series of games thus far are the only games to get this right. Their maps are truly open allowing for the best use of cover and concealment and ingress/egress routing.  No other game has done this yet, and Ghost Recon is so good that I just feel that of all the games ever made it should be the one with this truly open environment.

my .02cents worth.

On some of the missions they do have paths that lead up to the mountains and cliff overhangs.

DF2 kicks ass (well it did....)  DF3 (DF-LW) IMHO really sucked.  They should have Improved upon DF2's grafix engine and worked out the rendering glitches... anyway...

Ghost Recon is pretty good. THe add on mission pack, "Desert Siege" is ok, but very limited as far as 'new' missions is concerned.

There are many other 'unofficial' add on missions put out by individuals.. here is where GR is really cool. Some of these missions are very hard and some even encorporate a bit of humor... "your base are belonging to us.." [:D]

I dislike the inability of selecting a loadout for each team member (.."fixed" weapon.) with out a 'plug-in'.  The maps could use a lot of improvement and the the AI really needs some I specificly the guys on your teams that you are not directly 'controlling' (stupid things like setting up a perimiter and one of them is staring into a rock or side of a building)

DF2 online gaming is best (except for the @-holes who use glitches or jump all the time... when was the last time you could jump over semi accuratly  aimed bullets?)

DF-LW online was all about glitches.

GR has the potential to be fun, but either my connection really sucked or there was really bad lag.  Another thing that really torques me was guys who played a map so much that as soon as the map started, they'd lobb a sh!tload of 20mm grenades on the spawn points and most likely you'd die.

anyway, check out the add on missions at some of the GR team sites... you'll find some great stuff.
