Thank you Paul. Your post is the first attempt of AR15.com staff to explain what the charges against me are. DonR, Kevin, and Goatboy have remained absolutely silent on the issue.

Censorship by private citizens in a private venue is done all the time. Come to my home and try to speak as you wish and you'll find yourself censored so damn fast your head will spin. Censorship by the government of private speech is under most circumstances forbidden and different. See and understand the difference?

I always have understood the difference between illegal censorship by the government and the legal censorship practiced by the staff of AR15.com. There's no confusion about the legality of your censorship.

The forum rules are spelled out in black and white here. At times people push the boundaries seeking not to communicate or share but to provoke a reaction to which they can point at. "See the moderators are assholes because I couldn't post my links to child porno here".

I always look at the motivation behind a persons outrageous posting. If the topic is controversal then so be it, let the fur fly, but follow the rules. Be respectful and raise the level of thought rather than the level of your voice and the debate will continue.

If you look at my posts, you will find that some are intended to be humorous, others are intended as civil discussion of serious issues, and none are of the shouting/flaming variety to which you object.

If you accuse me of debating in a non-civil way, can you justify your accusation with references to uncivil posts by me?

Too many people start name calling as soon as the debate starts changing the communication into an argument rather than a discussion. Simple minds that can't think though another's point of view or immature people that don't understand that there could even possibly be other valid viewpoints. They then resort to name calling and gee, the post gets locked.

I've been on the receiving end plenty of times. But I'm not in the practice of simple-minded flaming, and if you look at my posts, you will see for yourself.

Of course all talk of felonies and violation of the law are removed too to limit the liabilities to the site. Conspiracy to commit a crime is still a crime even if you're ignorant of the event.

Just what crimes do you think I've committed, advocated, or conspired to commit? I know it's popular rumor, fueled by baseless accusations from DonR, ARLady, Tatjana, and other staff.

Can you show me where I've pushed the legal limits?

You are accusing me of every violation under the sun, but why? Can you show me the posts where I broke the rules?

Mods here claim to be more righteous than the B.O.I. at ass-web, but wasn't I really just banned simply because DonR doesn't like me? Weren't the rules of AR15.com disregarded in my case, just to satisfy DonR's power-trip?

Paul, I do understand that you have every [i]legal[/i] right to censor and ban. But AR15.com at least claims to work by a Conduct Code, and I've obeyed your Code, so I continue to question why I am banned.

Blaze contacted me via email also regarding his coming back. I don't have any problem with his return if he follows the rules of the board. There are some here who have acted in similar manners or worse and are still here. There are also people in positions of power here who act like they don't have any sense either, so where do we draw the line.

Have you really missed all the crap that he stirred up?

If the powers-that-be decide to be merciful to a few undeserving folk and grant exceptions, so be it. But I don't think the forum really benefits from people like that.

the rules like everyone DOESN'T.

It was very entertaining and I know you people lived for it.

Bring him back !!!
If you let someone like [b]scarecrow[/b] stay around,
then Blaze should at the very least get to come back
and have a free case of beer.

I think an arrangement should be made between BOG and the Site Administrators, if he TRULY would like to return and behave civilly.

That is your best bet Troll Boy.

Edit: Good point Euro. He could find a new ISP and return anonymously, act decent and noone would know the difference. I really could care less about this whole situation. I'm done with this topic.
