I don't respect them.  Their views involve theft.  They want to steal my money by force.

Because a Fast Food drone making $20/hr won't cause other wages to spike which will then cause the cost of goods and services to spike as well. Just like "free" education won't devalue a degree. Before you know it you'll need a fucking PHD to get a job working a Tier 1 call center job.

Offer them $20 an hour to go plant trees and see what they do...

One evening as the sun went down
And the jungle fires were burning,
Down the track came a hobo hiking,
And he said, "Boys, I'm not turning
I'm headed for a land that's far away
Besides the crystal fountains
So come with me, we'll go and see
The Big Rock Candy Mountains

In the Big Rock Candy Mountains,
There's a land that's fair and bright,
Where the handouts grow on bushes
And you sleep out every night.
Where the boxcars all are empty
And the sun shines every day
And the birds and the bees
And the cigarette trees
The lemonade springs
Where the bluebird sings
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains.

In the Big Rock Candy Mountains
All the cops have wooden legs
And the bulldogs all have rubber teeth
And the hens lay soft-boiled eggs
The farmers' trees are full of fruit
And the barns are full of hay
Oh I'm bound to go
Where there ain't no snow
Where the rain don't fall
The winds don't blow
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains.

In the Big Rock Candy Mountains
You never change your socks
And the little streams of alcohol
Come trickling down the rocks
The brakemen have to tip their hats
And the railway bulls are blind
There's a lake of stew
And of whiskey too
You can paddle all around it
In a big canoe
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains

In the Big Rock Candy Mountains,
The jails are made of tin.
And you can walk right out again,
As soon as you are in.
There ain't no short-handled shovels,
No axes, saws nor picks,
I'm bound to stay
Where you sleep all day,
Where they hung the jerk
That invented work
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains.
....
I'll see you all this coming fall
In the Big Rock Candy Mountains

There is nothing to respect from people that are intent on stealing your compensation and the sum of your life choices.

They are petulant children that are dirty and in need of discipline. They need a good shampooing.

Ya look at the comment section and you can see that not many people agree with this list.  Although not "officially" released, I think most people know that the real goal of these protests are simply to end corporate control of the government.  I have no problem with that.

Yeah until Walmart increases the cost of good proportional to the increase in minimum wage. Helll they might even raise it more just for spite. I know I would.

Exactly.

They aren't talking about which coolaid tastes better. This isn't a matter of opinion.

They want the laws to take money away from people that sacrifice to make it and have the money given to them so they can go to school without paying for it, get paid for not working.

I am fucking tired of people saying that this is a matter of differing opinions. It is not.

It is a matter of theft, plain and simple.

Fuck them.

Its all related. If minimum wage went up that high then everything would go up to reflect the price of wages.  LMAO. They make no sense.

Minimum wage could be 1 million an hour, but then bread would be 499,999.99 dollars.

ETA: You actually have to work and learn to earn a higher pay scale. I know its tough to understand, but thats the way it works and thats the way it should allways be.

ETA2: Or you can have no job, go on govt. assistance an then have more kids to up your pay scale .

I find myself more and more disgusted with these people every day. A fucking entire class of grown humans, that seem not to grasp economics any better than my 5yr old.

I would go along with free college, it would cure SOME ignorance, but only if housing subsidies, food stamps, and welfare checks were eliminated.

That would be a completely fair trade IMO.

Why do they want free education if they can get a "living wage" regardless of employment status? Why bother?

Being a Free Country and all, I support their right to protest.  Problem is their demands are so ridiculous it will blunt their movement so I suspect their leaders aren't all that smart.  There's a difference between protesting injustice and being a crybaby.

I would bet that a lot of these oxygen thieves went to college. That may even be where they picked up their foolish notions.

These demands will create so many jobs it will be completely impossible to fill them without an open borders policy.
