Traded my Charles Daly .45 1911 for a Mosin Nagant
As well as a a shit ton of extras and ammo to the tune of 1250 147gr Russian in 2 spam cans + loose 1300 147gr Romanian silver tip in 2 spam cans + loose 174 184gr Hungarian HB 98 147gr Cupro-Nickle WWI "Sniper Rounds" 115 182gr BTSP Russian Yellow Tip "long range" 20 203gr Silver Bear These descriptions are directly from the list he gave me and not checked Some of the extras include 4 Ammo pouches 3 Complete cleaning/tool kits 1 Complete bolt w/extractor 1 bolt head w/extractor 100 Stripper clips 1 Complete trigger group Plus a lot more Also included, 100 pieces of .223 brass 125 pieces of .45 brass 62 pieces of .38 brass 2 .38/.357 speed loaders a holster for a .357 revolver. ETA: 50 rounds of .38 I got a call today asking if I had a holster and/or any ammo I would be willing to trade for an SKS. I traded 6 boxes of Blazer Brass, an OLD leather holster and a UTG large frame auto, universal shoulder holster (he LOVED this POS   ) for
A Chinese SKS with his receipt from the pawn shop 18 loaded stripper clips chest rig spare parts And no, this is not some wet behind the ears kid, he is 43 and has a few other guns, just not fond of these. |

A decent 1911 is worth more than a mosin nagant. they aren't terrible rifles from the few rounds I have shot through them, but they're nothing to write home about other than being cheap

How come you guys hate "fudd" deer rifles, which are highly refined consumer products,
but you love crusty old russian drainpipes? Interdasting also, buying off-brand autoloaders of any type is a real crapshoot |

I am not talking about Sako, Tika, or the other good imports, but american made junk...aka Remington. While I'm not a russian gun fan, I have been Highly impressed with the accuracy of Finnish Mosins, my SAKO M28/30 in particular. Edited: To fix my horrible grammer.
