Hello, Ijust joined AR15.
Im looking to build one up like my old M16, all A2 w/ removable handle (some day). |
I lived in the outskirts of Pittsburgh for a while, Bellevue to be exact.
What type of M16, a2? We have a retro and an A2 section now.
We shot at a pretty cool 600+ yard range in PA that I think was out that way.
I live near Ambridge, about 20 mins from DT Pitts.
I got friends in N Washinton / W Sunbury |
IM thinking kinda retro, maybe even triangular handguards.
I think Id go with a removable handle incase I want to upgrade w/ optics later, I am 43 and eyes dont usually get better. |
Welcome to the site!
The price of admission is one box of Anderson's chocolate covered cherries. |

steelers suck I have been hating the Steelers since December 23, 1972, about 1:00 in the afternoon Pacific time. Welcome aboard OP ––- if you hang out in GD, youwill see all the post-gazzette and WPXI articles posted ––- no need to look at there web sites anymore. GD is like a clipping service, at least for the silly articles. If you make it to next summer here, there is usually also an invitation from the ARFCOM furry's for a beer during the Anthrocon in Pittsburgh too. |

Welcome, I used to live in Squirrel Hill (near Carnegie Mellon). I had some good times on the Strip and at Station Square back then (over 20 years ago).
PS thank you to our brethren to the west for keeping the riff-raff out from Ohio. |
