The $50 mosin. Yes, I paid $50 for the rifle, with scope. It is cut and crowned to 20 1/4 inches.

This cold bore sub MOA group was shot today. You will note my adjustments after viewing it and continuing to zero. Ammo is russian silver tip.

The five through one hole wasn't good enough? The ones to the right were shots 6,7,8 as I started adjusting POI

My mosin does the same thing. I think 95% of good shooting is the trigger man, not the gun

I've found mine to be very accurate, haven't tried a scope yet though.

never shot mine for accuracy. However, I can hit just about anything I'm aiming at @100 yards with mine that I bubba'd up.

shot my stepdads mosin a few weeks ago for the first time. didnt hit much at 100 yrds because after we left i realized that the front sight is way off center. also i cant see shit

I am happy to hit an 11" paper plate with iron sights on my 91/30. Not bad for 200 yds.

I shoot a mil/mil optic in meters.

It's the only way to go.

Mosins are suprisingly accurate in my experience. The first time I shot one off hand at a unknown distance with irons I was able to make a can dance.

The scope is a cheap Chinese 2.5x under the brand UAG. That is also a cheap Chinese mount with some minor mods. It does hold zero. Just took some time to dial in. I did not show later similar groups as readers would have confused them among the adjustments.

That would be cool . Think when I can afford it I may get a better scope in the 2-7 range and try it to 400.

I don't believe the long flimsy barrel would like that too much. it would be interesting to see.

This one does not have a long barrel. It was cut and crowned to 20"
