The only mentions of vermin relate to rats/roaches and their interactions with businesses/homes. Only two mentions of rabbits were found (example http://www.slpl.lib.mo.us/cco/ords/data/ord2853.htm) and these had to do with raising them within the city limits. Now bear in mind this evaluation is only based on the city level. It's plausible (and likely) that the Fish & Wildlife services might have different ideas. For example, in Missouri http://mdc.mo.gov/hunting-trapping suggests that the MOWILD rules apply to the entire state, which doesn't appear to exclude cities. That was fun

This is indiana. I haven't done any hunting for a while so i'm out of date. Hate to end up in trouble for trapping rabbits because some pussy cat hating fuck bag hates cats but loves the resulting rabbapocalypse.

If you're planning on releasing them elswhere you would likely need a permit and a place to legally do so. If you're going to kill it follow the rules of SSS.
