Ahaaaaa! I figured it out. Bunhole says "Honey, I'm going to the gunstore" Wifey says "OH NO YOU DON'T. Every time you go there you come home with a new gun. We need other things, like a new vacuum cleaner." Then through much deliberation bunghole and Mrs. Bunghole come to a compromise. I'll bet you even have to use that vacuum for a couple of weeks don't ya? huh? huh?

I almost bought one two years ago but went for a Browning at about twice the price. Been wondering ever since. Made in the USA, right? Good quality?? How's it shoot? |

prk, I just got it yesterday and haven't fired it yet. The action is really smooth and it is really different from the Winchester that I used to have. the Win had too damn many safeties. The only thing that I don't like is the fact that the barrel band is plastic.
Zak, If I had gone to WalMart I probably could have gotten both. [:D] |

Dad's got one, not only is the barrell band plastic the screw-off receiver cover is painted rather than any real finish put on it. His has some nice orange peel to it and gouges pretty easily. Shoots pretty well though.

I noticed the painted upper receiver when I originally looked at it in the shop. I bought it anyway because it was a hell of a lot cheaper than the Winchesters.
