Actually, you raise an important point.

As even our own history shows, the men who returned from WW2, Korea and Vietnam were DIFFERENT men than those who left home.

The innocence gone, the killing they had seen, endured and participated in, the raw carnage left them indelibly scarred, changed, damaged.

And this was after a 5 +/- year conflict.

Imagine what a 4,000 year conflict would do to a society. BOTH societies.

I can't entirely blame EITHER OF them for their inability to see clearly. But neither would I have confidence in their ability to ever solve the mess either. EITHER of them.

Do the Palestinians as a conquered people deserve a homeland?  If they do, wouldn't that mean that we should be giving the Natives back their land?  

The end game for the Palestinian terrorists (not necessarily all Palestinians) is [b]no[/b] Israel.  They've been offered peace in return for land and recently self-rule many times and have NEVER once kept up their end of the bargain.  Tell me exactly why the Israelis should be dealing with people who have a vested interest in completely annihilating them?

Again, your asserion here is shown to be almost completely false, by TWO facts:

2. divdoc's (he's STRONGLY pro-Israel btw) article PROVING the radical militant Islaamics  bemoaning the apathy and inaction of the people you claim are trying to annihilate Israel. If they are trying to annihilate Israel, they're going about it the wrong way. In fact, their not going about it at all.

Your whole position is based on the DESIRE to lump all Arabs in together, as a monolithic unit, with a unity of opinion, desire, and hatred for Israel and America.
