We got this spoon whenever we got married 5 years ago and I've only ever used it when all the other spoons are dirty. I know it has a certain purpose but I'm at a loss at what it could be; so ARFCOM is it soup spoon, reinforced tactical MRE spoon, or what?

That is a scalloped, decorative sugar serving spoon.
The ridges are to make it more difficult to clean if you should dare use it for any other purpose. ETA: Also, don't be "that guy" who takes it out of the sugar dish, stirs his coffee with it, and then puts it back. |

It's a tactical AR accessory... Weld it to your freefloating handguard and badguys will run the other way when they see it.
