Contract got cancelled due to lack of work. At least I get to get out of ND and head back home. Prayers for a safe trip and a new job soon!

I thought there was tons of work in ND? At least that's what everyone keeps telling me they've heard. " Get out to (western) ND!!! Name your price and the job is yours!! Homes going up left and right, can't rent a room to save your life there is so many people out there. All this work is supposedly in the oil fields/construction trades.

WOW!  Don't mean to be funny here but I haven't heard anybody mention COBOL in years.  Awesome.  Didn't know that it was still out there.  Probably the oldest computer language still in daily use.  Any machine code programmers out there?  I hope you find something soon.
