Man its going to hit 80 in South Florida today, may have to wear shorts.
The seasons are too short here, was hoping for some cooler weather. Oh well guess we just have to roll with the punches, hopefully no old folks die from this heat wave. |
|
Guess you guys have the weather we did for the last couple of days. Enjoy it.
|

Its only going to be 67* here today, but it warms up for the weekend.

I dunno. Winter is probably my favorite time of year. +1 I enjoy the snow. |

Waiting for the snow in DE, 4 wheelin' weather! Bring it on baby!

Weather says -9 tomorrow night! holy shit that's cold. I miss living in central Texas. I'm gonna move back soon. If I can sell my house.

I love fall and winter, but I'm running out of places to pile the damned stuff.....

Enjoy your alligators!
I'd rather shovel snow than run from a gator. We're only expecting a foot or two from this storm. |

I feel for the OP. Florida doesn't smell all that good to begin with, heat sure isn't going to help. I can't imagine voluntarily living in a place with that kind of freakishly extreme weather. Better man than I, that's for sure!
I was just thinking about Florida since it's pretty humid around here today. I'm really not used to 95% humidity ... thank goodness the 12.3° below zero temperature makes it bearable. |
|
-12 outside right now here.
4.5 inches of new snow the last 2 days as well. |
|
It was 83 degrees and sunny yesterday. It's 25 and sleeting now.

The 2 seasons in FL, hot season and bug season.
No thanks, I'll take the cold any day of the week. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Tell me about it! My girlfriend forced me to go to the beach yesterday

Parody thread. Lock.
(heck I got locked for a parody thread about Jainist girlfriend, my point wasn't actually parody of the other poster, but the peculiarity of Jainism.) |

Quoted: Me too. The wife and I were sitting by the pool all weekend. WOW it is nice today. 72 and sunny. Gives me spring fever... I almost wanted to work on the flower beds, but I thought better of it. |

Tonight - Mostly cloudy in the evening then becoming partly cloudy. Occasional flurries in the evening. Lows 18 below to 22 below zero. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph in the evening becoming light. Wind chill readings 25 below to 35 below zero.
It was 67° on Friday I love it when your nostrils freeze together when you inhale - It tickles. |
|
It was only 60 yesterday. It is supposed to get back into the 70's for the weekend.
|
|
I dont know. Ive kinda grown to like the challenge of getting a deisel engine started when its -30 outside.
|
|
Oh fuck you.
It was 80, perfectly clear, sunny, and beautiful here Sunday. Now? Wind howling 40mph. Temp 40 and dropping. |

Hell it's gonna be down to 19 degrees way down here in San Antonio tonight....and that's the high for DFW today. We ain't too much better off right now down here in central Texas....plus with the 50 mph gusts...it's pretty chilly. Hell, yesterday it was 77 here. |
|
Honestly, I love winter. I enjoy the bitter cold, doing stupid things in my jeep, and going shooting when I can barely feel the trigger. Not kidding.
But I live in Florida, so it's 67 degrees. |
|
Uh yeah.... We are looking forward to power outages today. So much freaking ice out there, everything is covered. I bet we got an 1/8th of and inch already and the storm isn't close to being over yet. Buddy of mine said he's got a ton of firewood stocked up for their fireplace and a mini keg so if my power goes out, that's where I'm going.

Its 18 F right now. The low is supposed to be 7 F. I have never seen it that cold in the 14 years I have lived here.

Two words: hurricane season. Add to that high humidity and tourists Florida is very pretty though. |

Two words: hurricane season. Hurricane Season is mostly fun. Of course, I live in Jacksonville where we don't usually see more than minor flooding. And I have a jeep. Cops literally wave me through when they are directing traffic away from flooded areas. |

Cops literally wave me through when they are directing traffic away from flooded areas. Jacksonville is like a different world from South Florida. I spent a couple of days on Amelia Island last spring and loved it. From what I understand you folks don't get the storms they do in other parts of the state. |

It never made it above 78 down here today.
Still; it was a heck of a nice day for a hike through the Everglades and some gator watching. |
|
don't worry .... it will be hurricane season before you know it!
