It's spelled "fascism", with an "s" between the "a" and the "c".  The word is derived from the "fasces" that were the symbols of state power in Rome:

Oh man, C-Span was showing their speeches?  Too bad I missed it.

I caught their broadcast of one of these demonstrations back in September, after the terrorist attack.  It had been planned long in advance by lefty radicals protesting the World Bank or whatever in DC, and it was pretty appalling to listen to all their anti-American gibberish in light of the attack.

It was like the freaks on parade, with every bizarre advocacy group you could think of.  Probably the worst was this black church minister guy who had just come from the free worker's paradise of Cuba, to tell everyone that Castro's love was with them against the tyranny of George Bush.  Wild applause to this news.  It was really too much.
