Right before the end of today's show, Glen and Pat were talking about Chris Matthew's comment that Obama's 9/11 speech was like classical music, and that Boehner, Palin, etc can't compare.  Glen and Pat said that Obama's big speeches are also big productions, with lots of money spent and elaborate stages, like the Greek ruins behind Obama during the inauguration.  Then one of them (I forget which) said, "In 2012 he can do a campaign speech with American ruins behind him."

I laughed, but the truth also hurt.

Sad but true.
