Does anyone remember that post. Do you know where I could find the video. It was probably one of the most awesome things I have seen and was telling someone about it this weekend and wanted to see if it was still around. The guy (a member here I think) was hunting with a spear barefoot in some rice fields. He would sneak up and stab the pigs and hold their head under until they died.

Found the video!
Awesomeness |

Not sure why, but the green hue reminded me of the Paris Hilton sex tape. Maybe it was because she was barefoot?

Quoted: Where do I get a spear like that? Looks like one of the Cold Steel spears. I personally prefer the new SOG spearhead that screws onto a broom handle as it's lighter and considerably more nimble than that Cold Steel version... But if you're trying to pin a pig, as this man is, the Cold Steel may in fact be the better choice... I focus on mortally wounding the game with a well placed spear thrust and then either track it until it drops, or switch to the combat axe if it rushes. The "pin and drown" method seems to be working for him, though. TR85. |

What kind of world do we live in when I can't watch a hunting video because Youtube users find it inappropriate? |

But where I hunt pigs doesn't have that sort of water. TR85. |

Hell motherfucking yes. That's a man right there... gotta do what you gotta do.
You can actually pay to do the spear hunting thing down here, there's a place out in Okeechobee that will let you do it. |

If pig fights back, hack pig with axe... How hard is it to find a friend whose land is overrun by these things? They're fucking everywhere. TR85. |

Not the same place as when I was a kid... When I was younger this place was just like that - everyone knew everyone and it was a bunch of white boys with lots of land and lots of time on their hands. |

Its not so much what he's doing, or even how he's doing it.
It's his fucking laugh after doing it. In both videos he laughs at the end, it's the laugh only the truly insane can understand. That man is fuckin incredible. |

I would've helped you find it, but I thought it was one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen.
You're on your own. (And yes, I've killed pigs, and other assorted critters.) |

Nah, he appears to have the boar spear with the cross guard: http://www.coldsteel.com/boarspear.html |

Quoted: No real details...random people seem to think it's funny to insult arfcom members/staff/mods in the comment section of youtube videos that are linked in any thread that's at least moderately popular. Quoted: Quoted: Anyone else see the comment about Gseriesfail below the video? That happens to just about any youtube vid linked on arfcom. details? Screenshot? It's so common that it's pretty much become a non-event that most people don't even mention anymore. Go into any active thread that's based on a youtube video and i bet the three most recent comments on the video will be something along the lines of Bama being a poser, Ed being a nazi, and Aimless being Ed's bitch. |
