DAMMIT!

I was attempting to remove the front sight and the damn bolt sheared right off.  I KNEW I should have used blue Loctite instead of the threadlocker that came with the sights.
Anyone have experience with XS customer service?  Think they can reuse the tritium lamp?

Same thing happened to mine.  Good thing too, because I now have a set of sights with which I can make long shots.

Next time heat the screw with a soldering iron to melt the thread locker.

Why were you removing it if you were planning to reuse it?

That blows.  I usually break the plastic ones off that I am replacing with night nights, not the other way around.

Drill it out an rethread it.

Or, like those above, use some heat and use an "easy out"...which for me is usually a small drill.

I don't understand.  Did the tool fail to remove the sight?
