9 grain wheat for most things, regular whole wheat if I can't find 9 grain..
Jewish Rye for Rubens and a few other sandwiches, dark Rye for other types of sandwiches. |

Fresh Khubbuz right from the oven in Iraq was phenomenal. I've been trying to learn how to make proper baguettes but haven't succeeded yet, when done properly and bought from a bakery in France they are amazing. I have had some good luck with no knead bread though, as seen here:
http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=1069548 I've changed it up a little though, I use 1tsp of salt, and bake at 450, the flour burns at 475. I also use waxed paper heavily floured to form the loaf and let it rise, the towel is just too messy. |

It used to be fresh sourdough bread.
Now? Gluten free and it is accursed stuff. And when there was no more sand, we ate gluten free bread. |
