Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - If I delete a digital copy of the Koran, is it the same as burning a physical copy?

My real concern here is viewing a copy of it on my computer.  Once it's flushed from RAM (by rebooting, or just as things use up RAM and memory is freed), I've deleted parts of the Koran.

Is that destruction bad like burning a Koran?  Does it matter if I do it on purpose or accident?

Burning a book means nothing.

If you were burning the original manuscript......you might be able to make some kind of point. Burning copies is a waste of time.

I mean who would be pissed about burning a pic of the Mona Lisa.
