he is not dying or sick or anything but the guy is 34 , 10 years my younger and in the last 24 months has had the worst luck if his life, but he is a good person and always has been. I think he has been voodooed or cursed or something

this is what has happened these last 2 years:

lost 3 jobs - layoffs , he is a motorcycle mechanic , parts counter guy.
lost 4 cars - 1 dies then he doesnt have enough money to buy anything good and it just repeats
wife left him with the kids and wont have any contact so he hasnt seen the kids in a long time
lost his apartment
had to sell all his tools
had to move from texas to VA to stay with me on couch now.

He is now living with me and i gave him a spare beater car i had so he could find a job , today the car died on the side of the highway....I had hoped it would last long anough for him to get afew paychecks and buy a decent car.

I have loaned him money and he has always paid it back , he even came to my work and did 80 hours of my shit list jobs for me to pay me back.

He is good to go staying with me as long as he needs to , may just have to wait a while before i find him another car.

So arfcom , please say a prayer for this kid , he idoesnt know why all this stuff is happening to him and he just wants to work and live his life. Need to break the spell on him. BTW he hates Obama , not sure where he picked that up

At least he'll have free health care?

Almost sounds like me 5 years ago. Tell him to keep lookin for jobs, and take one even if it's shitty. Good job helping him out.

I'd do the same for my little brother too.  Your brother is plenty young to get some education or training and start his life over.  Hell, he's still young enough for the military.

I was going to say a prayer, but then you threw in there that he hates Obama.  Now, I'll keep him in my prayers every night.

Not meant to be "too bad, so sad",
I was just pointing out anyone can be a victim of unforseen circumstances,
-but when there is a pattern in bad luck you need to ask the tough questions...
