I took a class titled "race and world issues" or something along those lines a few years ago. Black female professor with hyphenated last name? Check. Class full of Obama pins on backpacks? Check. DangerJ making a scene daily as he shatters some hopeless libtard's vision of utopia? Double check.
We had online message boards that we were to post responses to readings. I kid you not and I would put this weeks wages on the following: one kid responded to the article verbatim: "after hearing about the terrible things my people have done to minorities, I am ashamed to be white" You can't make this up, folks. I had to take a similar class at UAB called "African American Literature". It too, was all about the bad things that whites had done to blacks throughout the years. It was required and I couldn't skip it.
The course material was a combination of early American black writing and foaming at the mouth hate speech fostered by two black professors that made no pretense at pretending that they blamed everything on the whites. One was a retired Army pogue that wanted to relate everything to her military service and how she felt deprived of rightful advancement because she was black. The other one wanted to ramble about how her half white French mother tried to make everything right but that she felt pulled between two worlds, one racist and one normal. Both were stark raving crazy and felt that they were owed something. They loved to make grandiose statements about how American racism was the most degrading form of slavery in history. Neither were history scholars, apparently. I feel for you, it sounds like we both went through an exercise in enforced thought & identity politics taught by bigots. As long as UAB keeps pandering to the radical dipshits, I'll never set a foot in the school again. I'm going to see to a masters somewhere else. |

She hates it, and has been reading me excerpts from that "text book". She already knew that I was the root of all evil in the world, but is astonished that they actually have a college course that revolves around that notion. I have taken a class nearly identical.
They will describe how white's are neutral and everyone else is given the stigma of ethnic, minority, or colored. Its still pretty interesting, its just not my problem  !

I really cannot see this deeply entrenched class warfare mentality going away without serious violence... It won't. That's why you should make a determination of just how zealous the teacher for the class is (useful idiot liberal or full blown red Marxist), and decide if they should be scooped up and shipped off to a death "re-education" camp when the time comes. After all, you're studying to be a police officer, and the Marxists love to rail against the police, while at the same time expecting their protection. If the time ever comes where there is widespread political violence, either don't give them any protection or actively work against them. |

My BIL is going to American University in DC. He used to get under my skin because he was a left of center lib, Evan Bayh is how he sees himself. Now that he's at school, and is exposed to real libs, he's thinking about joining the Republicans. The libs shouted him down for saying the tea party was started as a protest to taxes and big government, not racism. He said that every time he points out a fact, they gang up on him and shout him down. One of their discussions was based on if the tea party seceded from the US. I'm glad he can finally see what real libs are like, and that their goals are far more radical than he realized. He's a smart kid, and you have to realize that there are other people in your classwho aren't buying it either. Outrageous claims and discussions will only claim the weak minded, and force the independent thinkers away.
