I have a weird relationship with those things. When I was like 6 or 7, my grandmother somehow looked the other way while I devoured an entire box. I got sick, and from that point on, I couldn't even smell the things.

It's only been in the last few years that I've even been able to eat a handful.

my 1 year old daughter makes fish face when she wants some, but the daughter to dad ratio of goldfish is about 1:10 so they box disappears pretty quick.

I LOVE those things.

Goldfish are great, I like the Pizza flavor the best.

Haven't had those in quite awhile, but went through two bags of the cheddar ones quite recently.

They're good, but the only time I ever see them is at my in-laws. My nephews love them, but they all reach into the box and grab a handful after doing who knows what with their hands.

Naturally, I ain't eating any of them unless I just opened a brand new box.

Did that once with those "Tato Skins" or whatever they're called. Loved them so much I went too far and after a couple of decades... still makes me ill to think of them.

Similar situation happened with my formerly favorite dish (at a local restaraunt). Lobster mac & cheese. MMM... LOVED IT! But last year I coincidentally got a flu bug after eating it and just cannot stomach the thought of ever eating it again. Tried once and the wife had to finish it for me.

The slogan, "Get your own box." is strangely appropriate. They obviously did their market research quite well.

I still love Goldfish, though. If the Original or Parmesan flavors came in the box, I would have a problem. As it is, scraping the bottom of the bag is a good trigger to let me know that, hey, you might want to slow down there, Chief.

It was 4 decades before I could even think about eating a Smore. I could eat Graham Crackers, Hershey Bars, & Marshmallows......but not all at once.
