we have had a few threads about aborting children if you believed they would be born with major diseases / issues....how about if you believed there was a strong possibility any children you had would be born that way....would you still go ahead and procreate?

Not talking aborting....talking  the impregnating in the first place.

I'd get a vasectomy and adopt.

When you really do believe in a God who is

1) absolutely sovereign
2) absolutely good
3) absolutely desires (and gives) good gifts to/for us, even if we don't see them as such

......then it's really easy to leave such matters in God's hands.

I have no dispute with people who decide not to have children out of fear of genetic defect, etc, FWIW.

I'm thinking he's referring to genetic diseases or diseases transferable from the mother.
