Go google an image.



You will be met with a tiled page of WAY more images than usual.



I THINK I  could get to like it, but you have to scroll over each one to see the size first.

Bing was getting market share on image searches, becuase Bing's was actually better.


This is more in line with Bing.

Its most likely a CYA mode so they have plausible deniability for copyright control



Gone is the isolate this image on one page mode so the user can simply harvest it.










You can get the old view back if you anonymize your google useage

I personally like it better, Instead of having to go from page 1 to page 2 it has MULTIPLE pages all split up on one page...I think it is MUCH MUCH easier to navigate

With Firefox:



Install Greasemonkey if you haven't already

Add in the "Greased Lightbox" script



Then you can mouseover the thumbnails in google image search, or about anywhere, actually, and the full size image shows up in a "lightbox" (darks out background).
