Try to look as much like average Joe Civilian as you can. May not help if you get in a situation, but it can't hurt.

It might not be a good idea to attract attention with your Becker gear. Have you thought of using a Kelty bag for your trip?
Personally, I try to look as "civilian" as possible when I'm abroad. |
