One suggestion: obtain a candid (not posed) full-figure photo, the earlier the better. Be prepared to do the same in return, of course.

alas, I did one of those matchmaking things... I musta emailed like 20 young ladies... didn't get SQUAT in response. I've kinda determined that most of the women on those things define what they want too narrowly, and exclude those of us that aren't:
extremely good looking and well built (I ain't bad lookin, and ain't badly built, but I'm not a male model)
Extremely successful, or moving in that direction. (I'm happy with where I am, and with a slowly progressing career)
Funny (I can be somewhat funny)

Oh well. I am in my dissillusioned phase right now. I don't much care if I meet anyone, but being lonely sucks. Once I get into a 'hopeful' phase again, I might jump back on that thing and try again.

I'm not much for this match making crap. I have a wife, sisters and sisters-in-law that could make a living at it though.

None have ever given good advice.

Oh he should go with this one or no she should go with him....

The couple of times I have given advice in this area, though, they have worked out great.

I tried 3 of those online matchmaking sites. I even spent 2 hours filling out a stupid essay profile. The only response I got was from some womenz who thought I was someone she knew that had the same name. It was a stinkin waste of time and money.

The former GAW used nerve.com and the guys she went out with got some on the first date.

I have seen those search engines on the matching sites. Pretty slick, can even narrow it down to "new listing" within "X miles of my location"....
