Just when  Scotus is set to hand down a ruling that should reinforce our second amendment rights, the media is broadcasting stories about shooting after shooting. Three lead-off stories about shootings on the local news last night, and several more today and at least 3 others nationally yesterday. All of the sudden everyone is shooting up the place? With what you may ask? Handguns, what else.

I think we should in addition to replacing those in Congress that wish to diminish our rights, we should replace our media with one that is fair and impartial. How, I don't know.
Thoughts?

It doesn't seem to me that people were this violent, crazy or hostile during the Bush administration.

Whatever Obama has done to this country is not setting well.

Socialists have an agenda and they control the media, thus we get the news they want to peddle.

Its all about pushing agendas. Does not surprise me, its the media.

I dont think there is a way to improve or reform the media, it will always be a opinion based, fact omitting, info slanting, agenda/ propaganda pushing fun show.

My view is this...a person is either a coincidence theorist or a conspiracy theorist. A coincidence theorist would see no malevolent connection these shootings have with an important 2nd amendment ruling. A conspiracy theorist might believe these are somehow connected, whether by deliberate provocateuring or increased coverage by the media, or a combination of both.I, however, don't think it's all by accident.
