I was wondering what kind of trail rigs some you fellas have.
I am going to be building a K5 Blazer with 1 Ton suspension for riding in the Black hills and maybe MOAB. 
I've been collecting parts for a little while and hope to find a candidate this spring. So lets see your 4x4 toys!!Mud and Trail.

Made a few changes (Rock Hard Sliders, custom rear bumper with swing away carrier, steering box armor, tie rod/drag link upgrade) Jeep...Just Empty Every Pocket   |

302, auto, PS, 4" lift, it will get 33's and lockers when it's done. Nothing fancy, just a mild trail rig. |

It looks too nice to wheel Look closer, it's 2-4x8 sheets of 14 ga diamond tread, a rolling patch panel and a 5 gallon bucket of bondo!  I replaced the entire inner body structure with 14 ga diamond tread and put new rockers and bed corners in it. The front fenders are trimmed because there wasn't anything to patch! The previous owner patched the frame rust with scraps of angle iron. The real shame of it is that the Bronco only has 52,xxx original miles, and runs and drives like a new one. It's just completely ravaged by rust. Here's a before photo.

It doesn't look anything like this now. Since this pic was taken, I've done a power steering conversion, front disc brake conversion, Auburn locker, 4" lift with 33s, ARB bumper with Warn/IPF lights, soft top/doors, new carb and headers.

I have owned 2 of them, but last year I sold this one.... 
It had spring over, reverse shackle, power steering, Chevy 350, Turbo 350, twin-stick NP205, custom centered rear diff with detroit locker, custom front axle with disc brakes and a lock-wrong locker, etc., etc. etc. I sold it to help pay for finishing my basement. Someday I will build another one. |

84 toyota crawler... Toyota body, Early Bronco frame, Bobbed, Ford 302, Dana 44 front, Ford 9inch rear with spool.
Rattle can yellow. Beat to shit... I have layed it on both sides.

My old Trail Duster. Sold it off after I got out of school. I kinda miss it 360 4bbl/727/NP203, dana 44, 9 1/4, 5" lift and 35x15.5x15 Swamper SX's. Crossover dual exhaust with flowmasters. Sounded sweet for a pretty stock motor. I loved scaring the yuppies with it
Bronco is the primary toy now, but is and pretty much always will be a mall crawler, she's too pretty to beat on 
Can't get to a newer pic from here at work, but it still pretty much looks the same, just different headlights now. |
